"Broken Lantern in the Graceless Elps" is the auditory chronicle of an unnamed ancient scribe who has been tasked by his native kingdom to survey and catalog the various plant and bird species in an unknown area of the forest. When he stumbles upon a colorful plant growing out of a root, a break in his apathetic disposition leads to his curiosity, and he consumes it. A strange journey then unfolds before him; each track on this albums serves as an archive of his trek.

All audio was recorded using a CTR-121 cassette recorder. The music was done in a basement and is improvisational.
